A Message from Dean Cristina Amon
U of T Engineering alumni have a remarkable impact around the globe, and their collective generosity to their alma mater is just as outstanding. I recently returned from Asia-Pacific, where the outpouring of support from our growing alumni communities in Hong Kong, Taiwan and Singapore for the forthcoming Centre for Engineering Innovation & Entrepreneurship (CEIE) is tremendous. It was exciting to discover how enthusiastic they are to sponsor classrooms and spaces in our new collaborative learning environment – a testament to Skule's legacy.
The facilities and collaborative environment of the landmark CEIE will transform how our students learn, and will establish U of T Engineering as the leader in collaborative engineering education and multidisciplinary research. Our graduates will possess not only a firm grounding in the traditional fields of engineering, but will leave U of T as bright, creative and innovative engineers destined to shape our world with new technologies and influential entrepreneurial ventures. Our Faculty is grateful to be surrounded by such a vibrant international alumni community willing to assist us as we build on our reputation for excellence. I thank you for your tremendous support and dedication to Skule.


	CEIE's new 'Singapore Malaysia Alumni Room' Following a successful trip last November, Dean Cristina Amon returned to Asia-Pacific to reconnect with alumni in Hong Kong, Taiwan and Singapore, and recognize their support of the Centre for Engineering Innovation & Entrepreneurship (CEIE).
	Nanoleaf co-founder shines light on entrepreneurial spirit of Skule Alumni and friends gathered to hear Gimmy Chu (ElecE 0T6) speak about his green technology start-up at the Engineering Alumni Association (EAA) Hong Kong Chapter's first lecture event.
	Why U of T Engineering students donated $1 million to CEIE Former Engineering Society (EngSoc) president and recent graduate Mauricio Curbelo (CivE 1T4) calls giving back to future generations a "no-brainer."
	Leaders in aviation predict big things at BizSkule Drone delivery service. Autonomous personal aircraft. Super-ships. These are just some of the industry projections that three aerospace leaders shared with alumni and friends at BizSkule.
	Blue Sky Solar Racing team rolls into Skule Lunch & Learn Members of Blue Sky Solar Racing — and their B-7 solar car — joined alumni for an engaging discussion about the team's recent accomplishments and the technology behind their vehicle.
	U of T Engineering students recognized at 20th annual Cressy Awards Seventeen engineering students received prestigious Gordon Cressy Student Leadership Awards at a ceremony on April 16, 2014.
	Good to be back at Skule: Spring Reunion 2014 Graduates from years ending in "4" or "9" (3T9-0T9) enjoyed a sun-filled weekend participating in Spring Reunion activities around the St. George Campus. We caught up with a few alumni to find out what Spring Reunion means to them.
