NSERC CRD Program

The NSERC CRD program encourages industry collaborations by matching cash and in-kind contributions from the private sector.

CRD projects can be at any point in the R&D spectrum. Eligible collaborations include focused projects with short- to medium-term objectives, as well as discrete phases in a program of longer-range research.

While CRD applications may be submitted at any time, they are evaluated by an Advisory Committee that meets four times a year. In 2009, the committee is scheduled to meet on the following dates.

March 4, June 10, September 16, December 2.

Applications should be submitted at least one week prior to the meeting date of the committee to ensure that they will be evaluated at that meeting.
