New Assistant Dean, Academic HR and Diversity, Appointed

It is with pleasure that I announce the appointment of Lisa Simpson-Camilleri as Assistant Dean, Academic HR and Diversity, which became effective Sept. 15, 2008. Lisa has been with the Faculty of Applied Science and Engineering for over 15 years and brings a wealth of knowledge and rich understanding of both the Faculty and of the University of Toronto to this important position.  

Lisa was the Associate Director of Development where she provided leadership and support to the Faculty's fundraising and donor recognition activities since 2006. Previously, Lisa held the position of Director, Office of the Dean, providing senior-level management support in the areas of internal operations, planning, staffing and external relations. Prior to her assignment in the Dean's Office, Lisa was the Director of the Professional Experience Year Program from 1997-2002, and Administrative Assistant, Office of the Vice-Dean, from 1993-1997. She received her BA from the University of Toronto.
