Be Well

In the busy life of an engineering student, it can be a challenge to find balance and make time for all of the responsibilities that you carry. At this time of year particularly, it’s important to ensure that in addition to meeting your deadlines and attending classes, you’re taking time to take care of yourself both physically and mentally.

U of T has many resources in place to help – from vaccination clinics for flu season, to athletic facilities and wellness workshops. Also, November marks the annual Movember fundraising efforts for men’s health, which this year is being expanded to include men’s mental health. Our Faculty is marking this by celebrating the inaugural ‘Blue Movember,’ in which professors, staff members and students are encouraged to sport moustaches in support of raising men’s mental health awareness.

This November, make taking care of yourself physically and mentally a high priority to boost your academic success and overall well-being.
