Today we celebrate the extraordinary success of our Engineering faculty, staff and alumni. Our acknowledged standing as the premier Engineering school in Canada and among the top internationally is derived from our achievements. 2008-2009 has been a remarkable year with a record number of awards, honours and grants received by faculty, staff and alumni for distinction in research, teaching, leadership, and dedication to the Engineering profession and academic endeavour. We have much to celebrate and look forward to seeing you at our 'Celebrating Engineering Success' reception this afternoon!
